1. Registration
Studio Vivo accepts new students of all ages and levels based on availability year-round. A one-time registration fee of $75 is due at the time of registration. This fee may be applied toward future lessons or will be refunded if unused.

2. Commitment & Minimum Monthly Attendance
 At Studio Vivo, we believe that consistent attendance is essential for meaningful musical progress.
  • Each student is expected to attend a minimum of three (3) lessons per month.
  • If a student is unable to attend the scheduled number of lessons in a given month, the family is responsible for arranging make-up lessons within the same month or the following month, subject to instructor availability.
  • This policy ensures continuity of learning and helps students take responsibility for their musical development.
Please note that repeated missed lessons may result in the release of the reserved time slot.

3. Miscellaneous Fees
If a student chooses to participate in festivals, auditions, assessments, or competitions at the instructor’s discretion, the cost per event will be communicated in advance. These fees will be added to the tuition in the applicable month. Please note that no portion of any entry fee is retained by the instructor.

4. Cancellation & Make-Up Lessons
Students are encouraged to attend every lesson, as commitment is critical to learning and mastering any musical instrument.
  • Lessons missed due to illness, accident, or family emergency may be made up if the studio is notified at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson.
  • Make-up lessons are scheduled based on mutual availability of the student and instructor.
  • Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  • No refunds will be given for no-shows or tardiness.

Please note that lessons may occasionally be canceled by the instructor due to illness or professional obligations. In such cases, a make-up lesson will be arranged.
If a student misses four (4) consecutive lessons, the studio reserves the right to release the scheduled time slot to another student.
If a student wishes to discontinue lessons, the studio must be notified at least one (1) month in advance. Any unused prepaid tuition will be refunded accordingly.

5. Lesson Materials
Lesson fees do not include books, accessories, or other materials. Students are responsible for purchasing all required lesson materials as assigned by the instructor. The instructor will provide guidance on where materials may be purchased.
Students must bring all required materials to each lesson. At the instructor’s discretion, lessons may be canceled or ended early without refund if materials are not brought.

6. Recital & Performance
Students are provided the opportunity to perform in an annual recital. Participation is mandatory, as public performance is an essential part of musical development, building confidence, motivation, and stage experience.
A non-refundable $40 recital fee will be collected from each student to cover venue rental, program printing, and related expenses. Additional performance opportunities may arise throughout the year.

7. Lesson Fees & Payment
Lessons are invoiced on a monthly basis. An invoice will be issued at the end of each month for the upcoming month’s lessons. Payment is due by the first lesson of each month.
  • A $10 late fee will be applied to payments received after the second week of the month.
  • In the event of an excused absence, prepaid tuition may be applied to a make-up lesson in the following month.
  • A 5% discount is offered for families who pay for the entire year in a single lump sum.
Studio Vivo accepts cash, check, and digital payments. Checks should be made payable to Studio Vivo LLC. Digital payments are available through Zelle, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Venmo upon request.

8. Recording & Audio Production Services
In addition to music education, Studio Vivo offers professional audio recording and production services to support student performances, competitions, auditions, applications, and special projects.

Scheduling & Fees
  • Recording services are scheduled separately from regular lesson time.
  • Recording sessions require advance booking and are subject to availability.
  • Fees for recording and production services are not included in regular lesson tuition.
Ownership & Usage Rights
  • Studio Vivo Students (Recitals & In‑House Events): For recordings and videos produced for Studio Vivo student recitals or in-house events, Studio Vivo retains full ownership of the audio/video masters. The studio may use the materials for educational, archival, and promotional purposes.
  • External Clients (Non‑Studio Vivo Students / Other Schools): For recordings and videos produced for students or clients not enrolled at Studio Vivo, ownership is shared (50/50) between Studio Vivo and the client. Both parties may use the materials for personal, educational, and promotional purposes. Commercial use requires written agreement.
Permissions & Requests
  • If a client or family prefers their materials not be used publicly, a written request must be submitted in advance.
  • Studio Vivo respects privacy and will honor reasonable requests regarding public sharing.

9. Professional Conduct & Responsibility
Students are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and ready to focus. Consistent preparation and respectful behavior are essential for maintaining a productive learning environment.
At Studio Vivo, we view music education as a long-term commitment. Families and students are expected to support regular attendance, responsible practice habits, and clear communication.
